About
Mindful Bloom Therapy

Olivia and Christie met while embarking on their journey as therapists at their first job. Working with children and families throughout the court system, they were frequently assigned cases together. They quickly recognized how they seemed to “click” in their therapeutic ideals and interventions. As a result, an immediate and strong friendship formed.

For years, they spoke candidly to each other about their shared dream of opening a private practice, “one day.”

The two therapists continued to sharpen their clinical skills over the proceeding years. Despite moving on from that first job and finding themselves each at different practices, they remained in touch with one another. Always, the subject would circle back to the idea of opening their practice together.

Following the pandemic, as society re-opened and blossomed with new possibilities, Olivia and Christie agreed it was time to make their dream come true. “One day” had finally arrived, and from that seed of an idea planted years earlier, Mindful Bloom Therapy was born.

The name Mindful Bloom was chosen for its deep meaning. “Mindful” means, “to be conscious or aware of something,” while “bloom” is defined as, “the beautiful process of becoming.” This is our genuine hope: for each of our clients to develop a consciousness, an awareness, of their capacity to become a healthier, happier version of themselves.
